In May 2016 Google is releasing another update in its pursuit to get all websites mobile friendly. This time though (there was some question in 2015's update as to whether the searches would be affected) they are acting on their intentions.glogo.png

If a website is not mobile friendly Google will rank it lower on mobile search results. Now, given over half of searches are done on mobiles, this is a pretty big one. You can use Google Webmaster Tools to checkoff your site is mobile friendly or one of the many tools online.

It's important to make ensure your website can be viewed by as many visitors, on as many devices in as many places as possible, so don't deny your site this.

My site isn't mobile friendly, what can i do? - Well, we can help you. You need to convert your site to become mobile friendly. If your site runs on a CMS (Wordpress / Concrete5 / Magento / X-cart etc.. a new template can be designed for it and placed onto the existing structure and framework. This along with some other tweaks will get your mobile friendly and good with the search engine man upstairs.

If you need any help with this, call one of our friendly team today on 0121 240 1714.
